North opens 1NT (could also upgrade to opening 1 and rebidding 2NT) and East passes, but so does South. West doesn't have enough shape to really think competing is a good idea, so here we are.
A lot of the success of this contract may come down to the opening lead. East probably leads a , and that gives North his 7th trick. Along with 2 more , 3 eventually, and 1 (also possibly a if the defense goes after them), declarer could make it on that lead. Without the lead and without any help in , declarer probably just comes to 6 tricks.

East opens 1 and South passes. West is close but doesn't quite have a game forcing hand, so he starts with a (semi-forcing) 1NT, planning to rebid 3 to show his 3-card limit raise. North might like to say something with all those , but is vulnerable and probably thinks better of it, and passes. East rebids 2, and that changes West's opinion of the limit raise and he just goes to 4. (If he doesn't, it's entirely possible East would pass 3, so this is important for West to bid - but it is also possible that West game forced with this hand from the beginning ond got there that way.)
This works out very well - after the 2 losers, declarer just has to find the Qx, and since he doesn't have the spots for a finesse, he'll probably play them from the top and drop it, and ruff a before he pulls all the trump.

This is a delicate 11-count for South - if the K is useful, it's probably worth opening, but if not, then this could be a mess. So it's prudent to pass. West opens 1, and North overcalls 1 (and South perks up again!). East passes and South just bids 4.
Turns out that the singleton K is just the ticket here - declarer can lose 2 and a ruff if the defense does so right away, but then the losing can go on the AQ.

West passes and North opens 1, so East can probably pull together a 2 overcall. South makes a Negative Double and West passes since he has both red suits anyways, and so North faces an interesting choice. He and his 5-card suit might just choose to defend here, which will turn out to be his best choice,
So East will struggle with this, losing 1, 2, and 3 when it looks like North gets a ruff along with his big . (Or more to the point, declarer just has a hard time finding winners!)

North passes and East has a weird hand - it's often difficult to bid 5-6 hands with longer minors but not extra values, but this one probably should be counted more like 5-5 and opened 1. South could overcall 1 mostly has a lead-director (but might also just pass), and in either case, West bids 2. North bids 2 as a cuebid in support of , and that gives East an out to stop bidding if he wants, but he's not vulnerable and now the K seems useful, so he might go for 3. South will pass if he has (or correct to 2 if he can't pass), and it looks like West might be backed into bidding 3NT, somewhat reluctantly. There's another line where East doesn't open, which probably lets West open 1, North overcall 1, East to bid 2, South to bid 2, and eventually East to bid 3 and probably end it there.)
This would have has a chance if the suit broke reasonably, but it doesn't, so it doesn't. Declarer can get his 3, 2, 1, and 1, but even that will be counting on some help from the defense.

East opens 1 and South passes. West has enough values to bid his and then his , but many players will just start with 1 and not mention the . North passes. East rebids 1NT with the balanced hand (depending on partnership agreements), and so West just takes that to 3NT.
We can see that either 7-card Major suit fit would score more tricks today because both break 3-3, but this is also in good shape as long as the defense doesn't lead right away, and South would have a hard time doing so, so declarer might get a chance at some extra tricks. There should always be 4 and 4 (on finding the J), and then the A and the A - or the defense can get their 3 and 1 tricks fairly early.

South opens 1 and West passes, not good enough to overcall at the 2-level. North raises to 2 with an extra trump card, and East passes. South could make a help suit game try in , and North would happily accept. (South could also make a short-suit game try in , and North would accept that too.) It's also possible South just leaves it in 2.
This should work out fine as long as declarer doesn't let the trump suit get away from him - he'll need to ruff several things on the dummy in 2 and 1, so he'll need to hold off on pulling trump right away. The defense can get one of those ruffed losers back by leading trump whenever in (with the and the A.)

West opens 1 and North passes, so East responds 1. South also passes and West rebids 1NT. East just takes that to 4 since he knows partner is limited and balanced.
There are 10 tricks available in lost of different ways here, and while NT would have paid the most handsomely, this 4 works too. Declarer loses 2 and 1 and that's that. (If the defense doesn't lead pretty early, there is a chance declarer gets to pitch one or two.
