North opens 1, and East overcalls 2. South has a really nice hand in support of , so could just bid 2, but might also even call this a limit raise and bid 3. West also has a whole bunch of support, and can guess that this isn't really his side's hand and his length is killing a good bit of partner's defense, so he might just bid 5 now. North would have bid 4 if he could, but probably just doubles this.
That works, as NS would have 3 losers in - A, K, A - unless the defense lets him set up the before taking the A - and EW have 4 losers in .

East opens 1NT, and South passes. West transfers to , which North smoothly passes, and East accepts. West then invites with 2NT, and East probably declines but does correct to 3.
But it happens that there are 9 tricks available, and so trying for 3NT would have been the winning move (but hard to diagnose!) Declarer in 3 loses 3 (or pretty easily, 4 to go down) and 1, but also could have gotten 9 tricks with 2, 4, 2, and 1 in NT.

South opens 1 (maybe 1NT if this is considered in range), and West overcalls 2. North passes, East passes, and South probably just lets it go with his "Aces and spaces." (If North stretches to make a Negative Double over 2, then South can rebid 3 and they'll play it there.)
It was a little hard for South to see the 8 tricks in NT available to him without knowing that partner had those , but this could work out for a positive score too. Declarer loses 1, 1, 1, and 2 right off the top, and then if the defense happens to lead and continue , they can get South a ruff to beat the contract.

West passes and North opens 1. East passes and South responds 1. North rebids 2, and South rebids 2. North makes one more push with 3, and South has a hard time leaving him there with the void, so might bid his 7-card one more time, and possibly even aggressively enough to bid 4. If he only bids 3 and North can muster up the raise to game, he'll be a happy camper, but it's not unreasonable to pass as well.
In , South loses 1 because East happily has the Hx, 1, and 1 (if he's careful/the defense leads them/he pitches one on a .)

North passes and East opens 1. South passes and West games forces into 2. East rebids 2, which might be a waiting bid, so he may have to bid again to convince partner of his length. West rebids 2NT with his balance and (probable) stoppers, and so now East rebids 3. West wasn't that excited about NT anyways, so he raises to 4, and now it's up to East to go further, which he may with this shape. If he asks after Keycards, he finds 1 (and the Q if he asks more), and gambling a little bit on it being in , or at least that partner has good enough to only lose 1 if his KC is the A, and he bids 6.
That works really well when West has the Qxx for a pitch and the top 2 , losing just that one .

East passes, and South just squeaks out an opening 1. West might like to say something, but these are so bad that he should keep quiet right now, and so North bids an inverted 2. South actually does have stoppers in both Majors, so he might (and should) bid 2NT, but he might also choose to only show the stopper with 2. North has stoppers everywhere and all these , so he just bids 3NT (which he also might have done from the beginning over 1 if he were discounting even the chance of a slam.)
If the defense leads , they should beat this - but that may depend on who it declaring. East has a better chance at a lead, most likely, so Souths who get to declare this one may have a better rate of making than Norths.

South passes, West passes, and North opens 1. East overcalls 2, so South probably just bids 3. West raises , but probably just to 3, and so North has to decide how high to raise. He likes his void but not his spots, so he bids 4 on the way, but then South has no problem with bidding 5.
Little does he know that his only loser is the offside K!

West passes and North opens 1. East could overcall 1, but South still bids 2. West can make a 3 mixed raise (if available, 2 or 3 if not), but North can then Splinter into 4 with his support if he has room, but that's not really good news to South, and he just bids 4. (West might then try to save into 4, and then South may or may not go on to 5.)
It's a good stop, but should be an easily made game. Declarer loses 1 and 1.
