Newcomers are always welcome!

Haven't played for a while? You've come to the right place.

We take pride in teaching and developing future duplicate bridge players! Each February, we begin a class for people in our community who are new to bridge. The class format is “play as you learn” in a relaxed social setting. on.....

Or maybe you have played before. We have a place for you.

Actually, we have several places for you.

If you wish to jump in and start playing, we have three games each week to choose from

.

  • 1. The Newcomer game - new to duplicate bridge
  • 2. A Beginning/Intermediate game – know basic duplicate bridge
  • 3. An Advanced/Intermediate game – know a few conventions

Or, if you wish to proceed a little more cautiously, you may choose to join our online “Step Up Lessons”. This class is for existing bridge players who are looking to improve their game. Again, it is in a “play as you learn” format that is held in a relaxed social setting. The class is also a great way to meet future partners!

Any club member will be happy to provide guidance

What are the requirements to visit our duplicate bridge club?

Simply an interest in playing duplicate bridge!

We do not distinguish between members and non-members. We all simply show up to play bridge!

Don’t be fooled by the term “duplicate”. It is simply a scoring mechanism to compare your results with others who play the same hand. Yes, at the higher levels it is competitive. But our club provides games where you play amongst peers – similar skill level and similar interest level.

The game of bridge is seen by many as a terrific stimulus to the brain and a great opportunity to expand your social network.
